Never heard of a Puka? Prepare to be amazed or at least amused. Meet Just Puka and Puka Too, two mythical Irish beasts who though kind-hearted can cause havoc for mortals like us. This play is one of a trilogy of tales of beasts that beset humankind to remind us of the wonder of our worlds. PUKA WHO won a Writers Digest Award and was produced and performed by the Rising Sun Performance Company on Governors Island for the 2021 NYC Summer Parks Festival.

"The writing is smart, sly, and very effective, and I found myself laughing out loud at the sheer verve and nerve of the narrative and the voice. In a sea of standard mysteries and genre books, this one clearly stands out." Writer's Digest Competition Review
